Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (medium coat)

Domestic Short Hair (medium coat) Cat

Pepper (FCID# 1/18/2016-11 Foster Home) the Cat needs a home

From his current foster:  Pepper (FCID# 01/18/2016 -11) and Blackjack (FCID# 01/18/2016 - 10) both came from a neglect/abuse situation. He is also FIV+. I have been fostering both for a while. Blackjack has been tamed, but Pepper unfortunately never fully came around again after what he went through. We have come a LONG way though! He gets near me, sits on my bed and lets me pet him while there, and eats out of my hand if I am patient. He is so curious and so sweet - just very fearful of human touch - but the fact that he lets me pet him while in bed goes to show that he can make progress - just slowly.  The ideal adopter would either 1) want to keep working with him, or 2) just let him be in a home where he can be by himself as much as needed.  He would probably make a good mouser as he does chase after spiders in the house.  He comes when I call to him. He has a BIG sweet tooth! I have never seen a cat like sweets but he loves ice cream and shakes- obviously only a tiny bit. He is super curious even when scared. He will follow the vacuum around, run away, and then repeat. He stayed little and has a cute eyebrow marking, so his curious face looks extra cute. He's very healthy, no issues. He has a cloudy eye but it has been the same since I got him, so it is likely just a scar now. Please email [email protected] if you can give wonderful boy a furever home! Foster will drive a long distance if the situation is right. (Foster: Monica V.)
